WINNERS - BARRY AWARD FOR MOST OUTSTANDING SHOW, 2010 MELBOURNE COMEDY FESTIVAL

WINNERS - AGE CRITICS AWARD, 2008 MELBOURNE COMEDY FESTIVAL

When comedian Sammy J and puppeteer Heath McIvor first collaborated in 2008, the result was “Sammy J in the Forest of Dreams”, a comedy musical featuring a cast of fourteen puppets. The show won the Age Critics' Award in Melbourne and went on to receive five-star reviews in Edinburgh, a West End season, and a DVD release.

Their next collaboration, “Ricketts Lane”, went one better - it won the Barry Award for Most Outstanding Show at the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and followed up with a season at the Sydney Opera House.

Their 2011 production “Sammy J & Randy in Bin Night” has built on this success selling out extended seasons at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Crowds and critics adore the latest human-puppet-musical-comedy extravaganza!
