Dr Katrina Warren

Dr Katrina Warren is a veterinarian who first appeared on our television screens in 1994 as a presenter on the Ten Network children’s show, Totally Wild. She then went on to co-host the Seven Network’s hit television show, Harry’s Practice and became a household name for promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

On Australian screens, Katrina was host of Talk To The Animals and she has hosted Beverly Hills Vet and three series of Housecat Housecall for Animal Planet, USA Katrina regularly appears across all media platforms- television, radio, print and online. Katrina is currently resident vet on Nine Network’s Today Show and recently co-hosted on 2GB’s weekly radio show, Talking Pets.

Katrina is monthly columnist for PETS Magazines, has written four books, and is a highly sort after and accomplished MC, she has previously hosted the Live Television broadcast of Carols In The Domain 3 years running and numerous corporate events.

In 2012 Sodastream chose Katrina as the new face of the iconic carbonated system brand. With Katrina’s busy schedule and passion for the environment and soda, it was a natural fit for Sodastream.

2013 was also a busy year for Katrina, who featured in the Australian Woman’s Weekly Summer Special (Ch9) and Makeover Street (also ch9) alongside Jamie Durie, The Block’s Phil & Amity, Celebrity Cook Hayden Quinn and Fashion Stylist Donny Galella.

In 2014, Katrina launched her very own web channel, in conjunction with Boom Video, Australia and New Zealand’s You Tube partner network. The new channel will showcase weekly videos, and Katrina will share her knowledge and understanding of pets with topics ranging from pet care advice, teaching tricks, and providing training tips.

Dr Katrina is passionate about helping people enhance the special bond that is shared with pets, whether it be choosing the right pet for their lifestyle, solving behavioral issues or providing basic health advice. Katrina regularly holds dog training talks and demonstrations with the very talented ‘Wonderdogs’ at both corporate and private events. Katrina is also an Ambassador for Assistance Dogs Australia, Animal Welfare League NSW, Animals Asia Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation and Lifeline Australia.

Katrina shares her home with her six year old daughter, Charlotte, a Maine Coon cat called Mr Fox and an adopted Golden Retriever called Riley. Mr Fox is definitely the boss!
