Ian Healy is in a minority of Australian cricket players that have played more than 100 tests. His career spans from 1988 to 1999 and in this time he only missed one test. Healy still holds the record for most dismissals with a total of 366 catches and 29 stumpings giving him a record of 395 dismissals.
Since retiring, Healy has kept busy as a sporting commentator, motivational speaker and business owner. He also opened The Ian Healy foundation, which collects donations to a wide variety of charities, including; Save the Children, Retina Australia and The Skin Cancer Awareness Study. Ian was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame in 2008.
